Some examples of these types are the so called “Now wall clock” where the dials are set to point at numerically placed now words all around the face of the clock. What the artist wanted to impart is that regardless of what time it is. The time is now. There are also clock with its face shaped like the multi-rayed sun or some other distorted shape.
And in some designs the numbers have been blown out of proportion or have been taken out all together. Yet the design is still patterned after the 12 points around the clock, depicting hours and the dials are still very much present. Some designs even resemble wheel spokes that look very futuristic but functions much like a clock should.
