Times have changed and the wall clocks that you can see in most modern offices and homes have, too. It’s the dawn of a new age and digital timepieces are a must. But even for discerning traditional types of people, modern wall clocks, which are designed with the idea of fun and creativity in mind, still have a bit of a taste.
A modern clock is still patterned after the standard mechanism behind any clocks. It still has a face, dials or hands, and numbers. However, in some modern clocks, these aspects have been altered in terms of design, size, color, and so on. There’s a bit of an abstract concept behind it, since the artist or designer can freely create his own rendition.

In some designs, you don’t see numbers. Instead, they’re designated by other symbols, such as spokes, rays, or even just lines marked on the face. And forget about expecting the usual round shape because new age designs can be geometrically distorted too. There could also be other remarkable artworks that involve splashes of solid colors on the clock face.

There’s one that’s shaped like a sun or even a half-moon. You could even get a space age wall clock that would look great anywhere. Most are battery powered and some are even radio frequency adjusted. Some have bright lights and different tone settings. Regardless of its funky designs, modern wall clocks serve the same purpose. That is to tell time accurately with added spice!
