If you have an old clock, you can recycle it in a number of ways. You can visit http://www.recycle-more.co.uk/ for useful recycling tips. You could sell it on ebay rather than throwing it away! But do you know about the WEEE regulations? These mean that you can recycle your old clock by sending it to us when you buy a new one? Please see the bottom of our home page for more information about this, and for information about the meaning of the "crossed out wheelie bin". It is important to know that clocks are considered electrical items and if disposed of improperly, these can have potential harmful effects on health and the environment. Disposing of these items appropriately minimises the amount of unsorted waste. Take back and collection systems are available to you for disposal of your old clocks.
"Crossed out wheelie bin" sign. This sign indicates that you should dispose of your product at the appropriate disposal location. |
